Advertising and sponsorship policy
How AITried may make money in future, and the wall between that and what we write.
Where things stand today
AITried currently carries no advertising and no sponsored content, and no company has paid for coverage. No affiliate links are active yet.
Affiliate links
In future some guides may include affiliate links, which pay us a commission if you sign up or buy, at no extra cost to you. Any page with an affiliate link will say so near the top, and the links themselves are marked as sponsored for search engines. Commission rates never decide which app we recommend, where it appears in a list, or what we say about it. See the affiliate disclosure.
Sponsorship
If we accept sponsorship in future, sponsored content will be clearly labelled as sponsored, kept separate from our guides and reviews, and never presented as independent coverage. Sponsors do not see, edit or approve our articles before publication.
Display advertising
If we add display ads, they will be labelled as advertising and will not be placed inside the steps of a fix or disguised as part of the content. We will not run ads for adult content or gambling. Before any ads or ad-related tracking start, we will update our privacy policy and cookie notice.
What we never accept
- Payment for a positive review, a ranking or a place on a list.
- Payment to remove or soften criticism.
- Paid links presented as editorial links.
