Privacy policy
The short version
AITried is a static website. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, no comments and no advertising. We do not currently run analytics or tracking tools, and we do not set tracking cookies.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when a page is requested. This typically includes your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser type and the referring page. These logs are kept by the host for security and to keep the site running. We do not use them to identify individual readers.
Things stored in your browser
If you use the light or dark theme switch, your choice is saved in your own browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Our subscription calculator and AI tool finder run entirely in your browser. What you type or choose is not sent to us and is not saved.
Fonts and third parties
Our fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not contact a font provider. If you follow a link to another website, that site's own privacy policy applies.
Analytics in future
We plan to add privacy-respecting analytics later to understand which articles are read. Before that happens we will update this page to explain what is collected, by whom and why, and change the date at the top.
If you email us at hello@aitriedhq.com, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to deal with your message.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@aitriedhq.com. AITried is run from Kenya, and we aim to follow the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019.
