Robot vacuum running-cost calculator
The price on the box is not the price of owning a robot vacuum and mop. Pick a model, say how closely you follow its replacement schedule, and see what pads, bags, filters and cleaning solution cost a year and over three years. Every price comes from the brand's official US store with its date shown, every interval says whether it is the brand's or ours, and anything we could not confirm is marked "not published" and left out of the total.
Nothing you choose is sent or saved. All figures are in US dollars.
The arithmetic
Yearly cost = price x number bought a year. Three-year total = yearly cost x 3. Prices are shown with the page they were read on.
| Item | Price (official US store, 19 October 2026) | How often | A year | 3 years |

| Total | $0.00 | $0.00 | ||

How the calculator works
The calculator is a fixed table of 9 verified prices and a set of replacement intervals. There is no AI and no sponsorship, and no brand paid for a place. For each item it multiplies the official price by how many you would buy a year on the schedule you chose, then adds the lines up and multiplies by three for the three-year figure. Fractions are allowed: a filter replaced every two years counts as half a filter a year.
Brands rarely publish a schedule. eufy calls its Omni S2 accessory bundle "quarterly", which is the only brand interval in the table. For everything else the interval is ours, chosen to be defensible and shown next to the line as "our assumption", with the relaxed schedule matching the rough yearly bill in our robot mop guide. If a brand names a consumable without a price, or we did not find one on its official page, the row says "not published" and the item is left out of the total rather than guessed.
Not included: electricity for hot washing and drying (no brand quantified it), shipping, taxes, extended warranties and the robot itself. Robot prices are shown for context only.

Models not in the calculator yet
These robots appear in our guides, but on 19 October 2026 we could not verify a single consumable price for them on an official page, so they are left out rather than priced from resellers.
- iRobot Roomba Max 875 Combo. Its page names StayClean concentrate without a price we could find, and we read no bag price. iRobot lists the bag as lasting up to 90 days.
- Dreame X60 Ultra and Aqua10 Ultra Roller. Dreame's US product pages did not render prices for us on 19 October 2026.
- eufy Robot Vacuum Omni E28. eufy lists a 3 L bag lasting up to 75 days, but we read no accessory price for it.
- iRobot Braava jet m6. No price on iRobot's US page, only "Available at select retailers".
For the robots themselves, see our Roborock vs Dreame vs eufy flagship comparison . All robot coverage is in the Robots section.
Frequently asked questions
Where do the prices come from?
Every price was read on the brand's official US store on 19 October 2026: Roborock, eufy, Ecovacs and Narwal. No reseller or marketplace prices are used. Each row names its page, and the full table on this page links to it. Prices change often and sales are frequent, so check the page before you buy.
Why is my robot not listed?
The calculator covers only models with at least one consumable price we could verify on an official page. iRobot names its StayClean concentrate without a price, Dreame's US pages did not render prices for us, and we read no accessory price for the eufy Omni E28. We would rather leave a model out than guess.
What does "by the book" mean when the brand publishes no schedule?
Most brands do not say how often to replace pads, bags or filters, or how much solution a run uses. eufy is the exception: it calls its accessory bundle "quarterly". Where a brand publishes nothing, the calculator uses an interval we chose, labels it "our assumption" in the table and explains it. You can see every interval and change your mind about it.
Does a bagless dock really save money?
Ecovacs claims its bagless OmniCyclone station saves up to $100 a year on dust bags. The only bag price we verified is Roborock's $25.59 for six, so the saving depends on how fast your bags fill: six bags a year is $25.59, twelve is $51.18. A bagless station still needs its bin emptied and filter cleaned by you.
Is electricity included?
No. Hot washing and drying use power, but no brand quantified it on the pages we read, so we leave it out rather than invent a number. Taxes, shipping and extended warranties are also excluded.
Is anything sent or saved?
No. The calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your choices are not sent to us or anyone else, and nothing is stored.
