Candy AI vs CrushOn AI: A Side-by-Side From the Official Pages

The short version

Candy AI and CrushOn AI are often compared, but they are built differently:

• Candy AI is a companion product. You pick or create a companion, and paid plans bundle unlimited text with a monthly token allowance for images, voice and video.
• CrushOn AI is a character platform. You browse or create characters, each with a content rating, and plans set how many messages you get.

Pricing model

Candy AI

Candy AI publishes its prices. On 18 October 2026 its subscriptions page showed:

Every plan lists unlimited text messages and 100 tokens per month. The terms say tokens are used for features like image generation and voice notes, do not carry over, and expire at the end of the billing period. CrushOn AI

CrushOn AI’s pricing page names four plan types: Free, Standard, Premium and Deluxe, each monthly or annual. Its FAQ describes Standard as basic features, Premium as Standard plus premium features, and Deluxe as everything plus “exclusive deluxe features”. The FAQ also describes buying membership on a separate linked site and then linking accounts.

Message use is the main limit. Site text says that when you run out of messages you can get more through a subscription, and that coins convert one-to-one into bonus messages that are used after your monthly allowance runs out. Voice replies use credits, with a daily voice limit on some plans.

We could not see the prices themselves, so we have not quoted any.

Content rules and age

Both are adult products, and neither means “no rules”.

• Candy AI lists 18+ image and video generation among premium benefits. Its homepage says interactions are fictional and must comply with its policies, and its terms say the company may ask for more information to verify you are an adult.
• CrushOn AI explains its three ratings on the character creation screen. Filtered allows no mature text or images, Unfiltered allows mature text with limits on images, and 18+ is the most permissive. Its FAQ bans content involving minors, explicit nudity in character images, and real-life images of real people.

Memory, personas and group chat

CrushOn AI documents more character tools. Site text describes saving memories, viewing them, auto-summarised memory updates, profile cards that you can attach to a chat and edit per conversation, and group chats of up to five characters for subscribers.

Candy AI’s homepage says your companion “learns through conversation” and adapts to your style. We did not find details on personas or group chat on its official pages, so those are unknown here. For identity tools across more apps, see alternatives with personas.

Privacy

• Candy AI’s privacy notice says third-party LLM providers “may receive the content of your messages”, and that de-identified interactions may be used to train and develop AI models, including human review of de-identified data.
• CrushOn AI site text says your voice messages are deleted 24 hours after sending and are “Never for AI training”, while the character’s voice replies and the text of the conversation are kept. Its FAQ says chats and characters are private unless you publish them. We could not load its full privacy policy, so other data practices are unknown.

Who each one suits

Candy AI is best for adults who want one companion with images, voice and video, and who prefer a published price before signing up. Watch out for the small free sample, expiring tokens and a strict 24-hour refund window. Read our Candy AI review first.

CrushOn AI is best for adults who want to browse many characters, choose a content level per character, and use profile cards or group chats. Watch out for unpublished prices on the pages we could read, message caps and non-refundable extensions.

Before you pay either

1. Confirm you are on the official domain. See how to spot fake AI app clones.
2. Note the exact price and billing period on the checkout screen.

Bottom line

On paper, Candy AI is the more transparent of the two on price, while CrushOn AI documents more character tools such as ratings, memories, profile cards and group chat. Neither is clearly better for everyone. Pick based on whether you want one multimedia companion or a library of rated characters, and check refund terms before paying, because both are strict.
